  • Yes. The program was designed for working professionals who are seeking to advance their current careers or change paths.
  • The program is part-time. Participants can complete it in six months (24 weeks).

  • No programming experience is required, however it is recommended that applicants hold a Bachelor’s degree or have at least two years of experience in business, management, finance, statistics, or a related field.
  • No, applicants do not need to be University of Pennsylvania students.
  • Our program has an application process and is not open enrollment. Once a prospective learner fills out the form or calls our admissions department, they will go through an initial phone interview with an advisor. Applicants who are recommended to move forward will then take a critical thinking and problem-solving assessment.
  • We offer a part-time program that allows working professionals to study data science without leaving their current job.

  • Our program requires 9 hours of classroom time per week. In addition, you must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 20* hours to outside work per week (*depending on experience) in order to truly immerse yourself in the materials covered in the program sessions.
  • Yes, a reliable laptop is required for this program. Laptops can be Mac or PC, with a minimum 8GB of RAM and a dual core processor (64 bit).
